Security and account access.

HospiEdge checks account, restaurant, location, application, and role access so owners can give each person the tools they need.

Role-aware access

Signing in identifies a person. Their allowed restaurants, locations, apps, and actions are checked separately. Owners and managers should review access when roles change.

Payment data

HospiEdge does not store full card numbers, magnetic-stripe data, PINs, or security codes. The selected provider and its supported hardware handle card data.

Approval and history

Consequential changes use the app’s permissions and review controls. Records and audit history support accountable operations.

Your guest-payment account remains yours.

HospiEdge software subscriptions are billed separately through Stripe. For restaurant guest payments, Stripe setup is available today through your restaurant-owned merchant account and your business receives its own payouts. Square customer activation is not currently offered. Provider processing fees and availability are separate from your HospiEdge subscription. Restaurant sales settle through the selected provider’s merchant account. Subscriptions, guest sales, tips, refunds, and settlement reporting stay separate.

Recovery has a defined scope.

Hybrid keeps recovery copies for software updates and database maintenance. Keep a separate protected recovery plan for local business data. An external drive at the restaurant does not protect cloud application records.

Keep local business-data protection separate from software-update and database-maintenance recovery. Hosted applications, identity, and subscription records have separate recovery arrangements. An external restaurant drive does not back up all cloud records. Contact support for the recovery arrangements that apply to your account.
